Judy Shubert
Originally from Minnesota, Jim And Judy moved to Buffalo in 2004. With the backdrop of the Bighorn Mountains for inspiration, Judy envisioned creating hand built pottery that was functional but reflected the beauty and character of Buffalo.
After finding some shed antlers it was only natural to incorporate antlers into her work. Putting Jim, a “semi-retired” dentist, to work cutting handles and making embellishments. Jim decided to make his own antler artwork. He has created a line of gifts... back scratchers, hot dog roasters and kitchen utensils. Not wanting to waste any of the antler sheds, the smaller pieces are made into buttons.
In their spare time they look for sheds, searching antique stores, garage sales, in addition to hikes while on camping trips! Making every moment worthwhile! Even the grandkids find antlers for Grandma and Grandpa to use in their artistic endeavors.
