Laura Hermann

Born and raised in Wyoming, I am the fourth generation of my family to live here. I grew up in Casper, WY, with a few years in Colorado and Oklahoma. The Big Horn Mountains were drawing me to Buffalo, WY and I moved there in 2011. Picking up a camera at the age of 10, I haven't put it down since. My skills were developed with mentoring from a variety of photographers. My specialties include: barns, homesteads, windmills, and moose. Dear to my heart is abandonment photography, capturing aged structures such as homesteads and barns. Along with that I can not pass up a rusty Model T or old farm truck sitting in the field.
The same beauty that defines a soaring eagle also resides in the aging structure and car. Each animal or homestead tells us a story, if we listen.
