Susan Love has added her work to the gallery here in Buffalo.
Her work is multi media using a wash as a base then applying one of her original stencils. She incorporates texture with the use of old snow fence among other items she finds in her studio/barn until she feels the piece is complete.
This will be auctioned during a silent auction at Bomber Mountain Civic Center, Saturday May 12th during the DANCING WITH THE STARS fund raiser. This is a very fun event to raise money for Cancer research. Buffalo's Relay For Life re-imagined. The performers will be local celebs who have been putting together routines and practicing for your enjoyment. Best part is you get to vote on your favorite dancers.
Since we have a full line of essential oils, other artists who display in the gallery have made an effort to develop accessories for the oils. Bracelets and necklaces are used as diffusers for perfume or aromatherapy. I love the glass roller bottles so you can mix your own blends and roll on.
I have been working as a painter and colorist since 1991. In 2008 I opened the first In Color Gallery in Cottage Grove, Oregon. The gallery featured my floor cloths and painted accents but with the addition of 30 plus local artists from the area. In 2013 Chris and I returned to Wyoming and in 2015, we had the opportunity to reopen In Color Gallery......again inviting the artists and crafters from the area to show their unique work. This blog gives me a chance to share some of my work and also whats new in the gallery
